Plug-in Translators for Inventor

TransMagic offers Plug-in Translators that can be directly installed into Autodesk Inventor. These Plug-in Translators expand the ‘file open’ and ‘file save’ functions within Inventor. TransMagic Plug-in Translators include the signature geometry repair system that automatically closes gaps and creates solid models.

 

JT Add-on Translator

The TransMagic JT add-on translator supports reading and writing JT files from versions 6.4 to 9.0 with visualization and B-rep geometry information. Any file opened in TransMagic can be saved in the JT format.  The JT file format is commonly used as a lightweight visualization format for CAD files. With TransMagic, JT files with B-rep information can be translated as geometry for use in machining, analysis, simulation or any CAD/CAM/CAE application.

TransMagic PMI

The TransMagic PMI (Product Manufacturing Information) feature provides access to important manufacturing data and product notes that are sometimes stored with 3D models.  TransMagic PMI can support data also known as GD&T or FD&T.  The PMI feature is standard with TransMagic EXPERT and ADVANTAGE and can be added to other products.  PMI supports dimensions, tolerances, surface finishes, notes, etc.  TransMagic PMI currently supports product manufacturing information in the CATIA V5 file format and will be added to other formats in the future.

 

TransMagic MagicSURFACE

TransMagic MagicSURFACE extends the file repair capability of TransMagic. MagicSURFACE quickly and easily locates holes in models and covers them with continuous surfaces that close geometry into "water-tight" solid models. MagicSURFACE is standard with TransMagic ADVANTAGE and EXPERT or is available as an add-on to other TransMagic products.

 

TransMagic BATCH
