Currently the best format to use for import into 3D Studio Max is the OBJ format. In TransMagic, open the file and save as OBJ.  This will import with the highest quality into 3D Studio Max.

To adjust the resolution of the OBJ output:

1. CTRL + A (Select All)

2. Right-Click and select Change -> Facet Resolution
